Internships

Music Therapy Internships are offered twice per year starting in June and January, depending on the intern's availability. After receiving completed application and facilitation video, the clinical director will contact you about setting up an in-person or FaceTime interview, depending on the applicant’s location.

The intern should expect to accumulate professional clinical experience through a diverse spectrum of multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural patient and family care. Therabeat, Inc. incorporates the philosophy of family-centered care into every aspect of its clinical practice.

Upon acceptance to the internship, a legal affiliation agreement between the student’s university and Therabeat, Inc. is required. Interns will not be allowed to start their internship until this agreement is complete.

Fill out the form below if you are interested in applying for a Therabeat Inc. internship.

I wouldn’t trade my internship experience for anything! The women of team Therabeat truly pushed me to do my best and I felt inspired by them every day. Having the opportunity to co-treat with other therapists in the clinic was another great addition to the internship experience. I loved being able to see how different areas tackle the same things we do in music therapy! Those 6 months really made me the MT I am today.
